Protect your computer from Trojans, spyware, keyloggers, and from attacking your Web browser.
Password Shield protects your computer by running as a service in Windows. The Password Shield Service detects key loggers and blocks them. Password Shield also installs a toolbar in Internet Explorer and a browser extension in Fire Fox. The toolbar and extension work with the Password Shield Service to block or allow modules from running in your web browser. You control which modules to allow or deny when the Password Shield screen prompt detects a module running in your browser. The toolbar and extension also allow you to save passwords, form data, and your browser history in an encrypted file that only Password Shield can read or write. This protects your information from being read by spyware and adware that look to the default locations in your computer for autocomplete form data and passwords. Version 1.0 is a re-branded Phantom Pass.
I dont really know I would like to make database folders my self
Summary
I am a freelancer and multiple websites give me headaches, so yes this works fine for me, occasionally I work from the public coffee shop and leaving the lap to ask for a drink is stupid am aware, but locking all the passwords is good to have. Anyway, the part where you don't have to wreck your brain to think of solid password is fine by me.
nice, but...

Pros
This program looks pretty and easy to use
Cons
It is not actually very secure, and does not lock folders, it just hides them. This means there is a whole host of ways to access them still (either through Linux, or even via specialist folder browsing software on Windows). This is especially a bad point as it costs allot (maybe as freeware it would be suitable for kids or hiding stuff from inexperienced users). If you want to lock folders, use BCArcive as this actually encrypts your files safely.

I agree with the previous user. This version is crippled to a max of 3 entries and an evaluation period of 30 days.

What they don't tell you is that if you want to use more than THREE passwords, you have to purchase the full version. Try RoboForm; it has more features and you can enter 30 passwords for free.

Can't get better than this "FOR FREE" i only gave a thumb down because this program has a leak. If the people who pushed into this leak then they can bypass any passwords from any user using this!!

Simple, easy to use and more secure than others on the market. Trojans are a real threat nowadays and my system actually had one whcih picked up one of my online accounts (lucky it wasnt a secure account) but all of my username/passwords on this software allowed complete protection. The software itself is easily useable with most systems and my PGP is now fully protected by this software as before you had to type your password into the software.
Awesome.

Simple, small and secure. I have used this now for 4 months and its great for travelling (keep secure passwords on disk without the risk of ever having them read) and the drag and drop features work brilliant in every form I tried. I have useed it on Win 98, ME and XP without a problem!

I expected the usual insecure password manager, but this one has proved me wrong. Strong encryption (and without the ability for anyone to see the passwords on screen is a big bonus),the onscreen keyboard works a treat-no Mouse clicks/No keyboaard entry..very cool. Password Shield team returned an email within 2 hours, overall a nice simple secure product.
Did what it had to

I just tested this excellent Password Manager on two of my keyboard logger programs and even did a little tweaking to see if I could pick up any traces of my inputed password via drag and drop. Nothing. It works great and is a real protection against those nasty trojons that are flying round the net today...
