This password manager packs a huge array of customization tools and database options, but somehow neglects standard features found in comparable programs. Password Organizer Deluxe's interface may appear daunting initially, but the inclusion of the help file, tool tips, and online tutorial help dramatically lessen the learning curve. The password-protected program comes with two ready-to-use databases, allowing you to securely store a wide range of account information. Password Organizer Deluxe's strength is in organizing and storing your data, and we were impressed by the options to view information, apply filters, and customize data fields. However, while it can launch Web sites with a quick right-click, the program doesn't include tools to automatically log you in or to copy and paste login information. Also missing is a password generator or the option to set expiration dates for your passwords, common security features found in similar programs. The bundled Designer module allows you to download free database templates for a number of purposes, but offers nothing in the way of password management. This app's flexibility will appeal to anyone who wants a secure, customizable storage database, but users looking for features to ease online account access will be disappointed.
