Though this software won't dazzle you, it will help you save your password information. Password Master has a basic interface with an easy-to-understand toolbar, file header menus, and status bar. Password information is kept in a user-specific profile and the program allows multiple profiles. After you select a profile name, you can add entries that include username, password, and file path or URL. It comes with a password generator in case you don't already have a password assigned to a profile. There's an option to check "Password was protected," but it isn't clear what this feature does and the bare-bones help file doesn't mention it. You can launch programs or Web pages from the program and use its clipboard feature to copy a username and password. Login is required for all profiles, but in the 15-day trial version the password is preset for all users. This basic password manager is suitable for anyone who wants to maintain all password information in a single location.
