  Pros

  version 2.6.3 cleaned up many of small glitches, other than operator errors. I not only use it for passwords, but to store my activation/licenses numbers too. It is a lot easier to have all that info in one place. I like the fact that it can be stored on your computer, and you decide if you want to database file (like a sd chip, so if the HD crashes, you still have the files on the chip) Plus it not an off in the cloud. I don'r care what any claims are made about the cloud, not a smart place to put password file for being safe. Rather carry in my pocket on a usb, and only one password in my head to access the file, with all my passwords. Now I wish they could make it for a smartphone. Maybe they will someday. I would pay for an app that does not store sensitive information on the cloud, but the app could could be used on the kindle or the nook as well. That may be wishful thinkinking on my part. Cannot wait to see what improvements they have made for version 3.

  all and all a good program. It is simple, easy to use, not really complicated as newer programs seem to be.

  Totally reliable program. Good support system. Much better than other programs requiring monthly fees or subscriptions. have used it for several years now and love it.

• Perfect Software

  I have a review under the previous version of this software, and have used it for over 10 years. It isn't outdated. There is a very good security reason that it doesn't hold your username and password etc. in ram so that it is automatically inserted. This is excellent software with security that is next to none. I use two combination key strokes to enter encrypted information between any of my accounts and nothing is stored in ram. The program also protects you from key loggers. If all you want is auto fill, just use your browser. But if you need a very secure password program that is configurable then get this software. I can't recommend this software high enough.

I have used this well thought out software for years. This new version is still the most secure password program available. It does take just a very little brain power to set it up and learn to use it, but it is more than worth it in security benefit's. The instructions are easily followed. I can't recommend this software high enough.

• BEST Password Protection Program

  I have used this program for over 10 years now and I depend on it's security and features. I have tried and compared several others, but None Compare with this software. I use the full version that is available at a reasonable cost. I use the paid version because it allows for more entries. If you don't have many password protected accounts then the Lite version is perfect. I should also mention that the paid version allows updates for life. This software also will let you store private information that can ONLY be accessed by you or Your Personal Password. It's perfect for banking if you have several banks and passwords, and all your internet sign-ins and outs. I only have to remember 1 password with this software. Warning: Do Not Forget Your Password, if you do then your password file cannot be read or opened by anything or anybody. I love this software. I also want to add that the log-in templates are programmable and their are Many features to suit any needs.

  Cons

  The ONLY con is that there is no Linux version.

  If you need a very secure password program, that will also store account numbers, special address's, url's etc. then this software is for you. I can't recommend this program high enough! Thanks Moon Software. It takes all the work out of signing into any web site.

  I have used this program for years. I paid for the full version, and I use it at work, home and on my laptop. I haven't ever had any problems with it, and I highly recommend it!

  Pros

  Program is lite and agile Feel secure with a good password Have been upgraded for free after initial purchase -- for years Can print out stored info with passwords blocked or showing. Good note section.

  Cons

  Stored passwords are not available on the web ... could be a good thing. Could always use a cloud account if I wanted.

  Great program. I've never run into a bug in all these years.

  A one time buy! Once you have this program you will never have to buy/use another. Great for generation and storing seldom (but necessary ) passwords. Antidote for Alzheimer's.

• No Auto Login - Note They Say Semi-Auto

  No auto login - the software maker says semi-automatically (which means you have to do the work.)

  Summary

  Pass this password manager by - there are better options that actually capture your login details when you login to a website, remembers it, and will automatically log you in every time afterwards.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Sep 22, 2012<p/>This thing is badly outdated - it's like the ones from the 1990s.

  Pros

  Simple concept: create (as needed) secure passwords &#38; login Information accessible on my PCs. Maintain flat file information on hundreds of websites; provides custom groupings of them. Easily update general and password information.

  Cons

  Haven't found a way to delete multiple items at once. Have to delete 1 record at a time. Most frequent need is when want to remove duplicate files due to importing an earlier or separate password file.

  Summary

  Well before password security and a seemingly infinite number of websites arose in the past 10 years requiring individual login names and passwords (often needing to be frequently changed to protect your identity) Password Agent was doing all this. Has had minimal upgrades, because it was well thought out to start with and hasn't needed to be tweeked to keep it current and effective. Outstanding program and Well Worth the Price!
