Partition Find and Mount implements a new concept of deleted or lost partition recovery. It works in the most convenient way possible by locating and mounting partitions into the system, thus making those lost partitions available to you like any generic disk volume. Partition Find and Mount will also work in case any Boot Record is missing, damaged or overwritten.
-Easy to use
-Reliable data recovery
-Works with GPT partitions (many don't)
-
Cons
-Separate download for FAT and NTFS versions
Summary
As a computer technician, I use GetDataBack almost on a daily basis. Have tried practically all alternatives. Found myself using different Data Recovery programs depending on the circumstances. Get Data Back is the only one that worked in all scenarios of data loss.

Pros
Simple to run, easy to use. After an accidental deletion of partitions on a drive I tried several programs that either didn't find the partitions or incorrectly stated their sizes.
Cons
None so far.
Summary
After trying several other programs that cost a lot of money, this one did what they couldn't, at least with my drive. One expensive one found them but in demo mode wouldn't let you recover them. Partition find and mount not only found them, and correctly identified their sizes, it lets you recover your data as well. Not bad for free. One thing that isn't a problem, just might be a little confusing at first if you've never used it before like me, is that when you first click on the scan button a pop up says a drive isn't ready and asks you if you want to continue or abort. I first thought it was just going to be another failed attempt but the second try I just clicked on continue anyway and it started searching the drive sector by sector. It does take a while if your drive is big, mine was 1.5 TB drive. Just give it some time. I tried Acronis and it took hours, I had to let it run through the night and the next morning it was done so I have no idea how long it actually took. Acronis didn't state the sizes correctly though so was afraid to have it commit the changes for fear of making the matter worse. So far this free software Partition Find And Mount did what the rest couldn't do or one that did but cost too much money.I'll keep this in my software tool box from now on.
