Partition Boot Manager (PBM) is a new and unique boot manager that allows you to support up to 256 operating systems on a single hard drive. This is great because you can make your computer act like it is more than one computer. PBM gives each user security and protection from another user corrupting their system. It also allows you to run many different operating systems on a single computer. PBM also supports login security so users will see only the OS choices they have access to; and it protects each operating system from others. Unlike other boot managers, PBM is compatible with common partition utilities.

Version 1.08 is a maintenance release.

Pros
Boot with PBM, installation asks for space from initial part of partition and to get it you confirm, and delete the partition and MBR. but then it asks for a serial and if you dont have, you quit, impossible to boot your computer again.
Cons
Can get rid of the damage caused by this software by partition magic (PM). PM isn't a boot manager but at least sets some partitions active, deletes the redundant data that Partition Boot Manager had put instead of your previous partition and mbr.
Summary
You boot pc with PBM diskette, installation asks for some space from the beginning part of a partition and to get this, asks for your confirmation, and deletes the partition and MBR. but then it asks for a serial and if you don't have you have to quit. After this you have nothing to boot your computer. Previoues MBR is gone, no operating system can boot at all. If you uninstall this nothing is restored. Summary: User is at no point informed about the fact that he/she needs a trial serial, and if he quits after this serial step, user can not boot its system again; in most of the cases

Pros
I have no floppy drive so the CD ISO file for a bootable CD came in handy. After I made a small amount free in the beginning of the first drive (7.6MB) the installation was quick. Configuration for booting 3 operating systems was done in a couple of minutes. <p>The possibility to configure what partitions are visible to the different OS is a strength. <p>Have also been in e-mail contact with the support and it has been very fast and good.
Cons
The only con is that without a floppy the configuration cannot be saved i.e. you loose a couple of minutes of configuration work in the worst case. Nothing serious.

I don't know, because I can't install it.
Cons
The setup file forces you to create a setup floppy disk. I don't have a floppy disk drive, and the "installer" makes me use my A: or B: drive, neither of which I have. I would like to try it out, if this oversight was corrected, but it hasn't been, so far.
