ParentWeb Baby Tracker for Windows

Pregnancy is an exciting time, and it gives a person a lot to think about. What expectant parent isn't curious about their fetus' development, or counting down the days until her or his arrival? ParentWeb Baby Tracker lets parents track their child's development both in the womb and after they've entered the world, and also gives users access to the content on ParentWeb.com.

The program's interface has several components. There's a widget at the top of the screen that tracks either the length of your pregnancy or how old your baby is, depending on whether or not she's been born yet. The widget also has controls for the program's optional screensaver and wallpaper, which are also different depending on whether your bun is still in the oven; if so, both the screensaver and wallpaper display images of fetal development, and if not, photos of adorable babies will adorn your screen. The widget also opens the program's main interface, which contains links to the ParentWeb forums as well as a parenting-related news feed. The program also displays growth charts for babies that have been born, and this is where we encountered our only problem with the program; there's a button that should allow parents to enter their own baby's measurements as well as journal entries, but when we tried these features the program displayed only a blank screen. If you're looking for a way to track you baby's developmental milestones, this program probably isn't the best option. But if you want general information about development both before and after birth, ParentWeb Baby Tracker is worth a try.

ParentWeb Baby Tracker installs and uninstalls politely, but it does require registration. We recommend this program to all users.
