  Pros

  -Monitor all your resources in on place! Even query the DB -Very reliable if you space out the pings 30-60 seconds. -Super support for this application -Quick to set up -Easy to read interface and easy to see whats down. -Restarts my services when they down

  Cons

  -Ability to move multiple recourses between groups at once. -Alters me to my mail server being down at 3am.

  Summary

  I use overseer to monitor about 150 endpoints. And it has never let me down. The other reviewer must have set it up to poll the resources at a super slow rate; or had some network problems! This software is a must have for any IT Network or System Admin!

  Pros

  Great interface. I like the MMC a lot. I like the fact that it has an Access back end database. Looks real good.

  Cons

  I can ping a device from windows command prompt and it times out. If I test the same host from overseer, it reports it is alive - it was not alive! This program is unreliable.
