  Pros

  Extremely compact, quick to load, and very simple to use.

  Cons

  Only records to a wav file (mp3 encoder could not be loaded)

  Summary

  I downloaded this as a replacement for Windows Sound Recorder (so I could record at least 15 mins at a time)--worked perfectly. The download is a Windows Installer (.msi) file, installing easily. The simple interface lacks the standard Windows "minimize/maximize/close" buttons,etc; program closes by hitting the ESCape key.

  Pros

  I installed it and was able to record a streaming radio program to a WAV file. The program itself is very simplistic. The hard part is configuring the Windows Volume/Recording Controls properly. Once that's done it works fine.

  Cons

  The record to MP3 function didn't work, but I have other programs that can convert a WAV file to MP3.

  once u've opened it, u can't close it anymore!! It doesn't look 100% windows friendly.
