On Time sits in the system tray (next to the clock) and runs behind applications to let you continue on with more important tasks. Does what it's supposed to. Pops up with a reminder when you want it to! Like the shutdown feature too.

Brief trial under W'2000 Professional didn't work. Barebones date/time setting. Cannot set a message/reminder to repeat. I'm looking for something with the appointment setting capabilities of Outlook, but I use intellisync for Yahoo and don't want the reminders transferred to another platform/device.

I've tried this program and it works fine 4 me. Displays the reminder in a dialog box format. Have yet to try shut down, log off and restart windows.
