This straightforward utility quickly converts Nero and Roxio playlists to the more common M3U format, but requires JAVA 5.0 to operate.
Unfortunately, Windows Media Player can't use music playlists created by Nero and Roxio. Enter this utility, which was designed to make a Media Player playlist out of those two formats. NRA-DMSA to M3U Converter's plainly designed interface needs just two standard buttons and input boxes for the source and destination path. We quickly found our Roxio and Nero playlists using the program's standard file dialog. It took the utility only a few moments to convert a playlist.
Our converted playlists were opened without trouble by Windows Media Player. Nothing was lost, and the converter didn't alter the original playlists.
Though helpful only for a select group of Nero and Roxio users who need M3U playlists, this easy-to-use and tiny freeware application performs its job very well.
NRA DMSA to M3U Converter is a little program that will convert your Nero or Roxio music compilations to regular m3u playlists to play in your favorite media player such as Windows Media Player or Winamp. As a user, you will be able to select the source of the .nra or .dmsa file and then select where to save the converted m3u file. You will not lose your original .nra or .dmsa file. Should work on anything with Java 1.4 or higher. Double click the downloaded file to open.
Version 2.2 is compatible with Nero 8 and Roxio Suite 9.
