This application provides information lookups from the Web and a capable pop-up blocker, but it offers no new or groundbreaking functionality.

NOL (Never Offline) Toolbar places an additional toolbar on your Internet Explorer browser. In terms of extras, the program also includes an effective pop-up blocker and a customizable news ticker. It did a great job of quickly blocking several unwanted windows. However, options for customizing the news ticker seemed to be missing during assessment.

Like others in this category, this utility doesn't do anything special; it simply uses Google, eBay, Amazon, and more to search the Web. You may also search stock quotes or view weather and movie reports by entering your zip code. All in all, any levels of user will find this freeware toolbar easy to install and operate.
