As you'd likely guess from the name, this program lets you design and create personalized yearly calendars and greeting cards from your own photo collection. The interface is clean, good-looking, streamlined, and easy to use, thanks to a wizard that walks you through the process of making a calendar. My Photo Calendars lets you choose from a variety of templates, then allows you to customize your calendar with any amount of country-specific and religious-based holidays. After you've handled the basics, you can add photos and text to each month. You won't find any detailed tools for editing pictures, but you can perform such basic functions as cropping, rotating, and enabling a simple fade effect. The application gives you a greater deal of control over handling text, letting you specify font, size, and background color. Once you like the looks of your calendar or greeting card, you can send it to the developer for production, a tool that professionals will likely appreciate. Unfortunately, the demo won't let you make prints at home. Also, installation takes awhile and the program consumes a hefty 85MB of memory. Nonetheless, this is a very solid tool for both amateur and experienced users.

Pros
If you're willing to order calendars from their service or pay the $20 fee for desktop printing, you can get some decent calendars done.
Cons
Software is bloated and $20 fee is way too much for sporadic home use. Not worth installing unless you plan to pay the fee or order on line; but then, lots of other vendors, Wal-Mart and Snapfish included, offer competitive ordering packages.
Summary
Not worth the disk space or cash unless you plan on printing lots of photo calendars.

Very user friendly, if I could use it anyone can!! Love the fact you can use just about any digital image as your background and you can manipulate the images to suit most needs.

We used the new version of this product to create calendars for the holidays and found it very easy to use. We loved how professional it came out, and how costumizable everything is, specially how you can put the picture in the background etc.
