Great for Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP Operating Systems!

Works as advertised in removing unwanted start-up items in msconfig for the recommended operating systems .
Cons
Needs to be updated to include Windows 7 & 8 Operating Systems.
Summary
Works as advertised for Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP Operating Systems. All the negative reviews I read were downloading the program to their Windows 7 or above Operating Systems in which it was not meant for. I subtracted two stars for the fact that MSConfig Cleanup has not added any updates to include the Windows 7 or above Operating Systems.

EVERYTHING - On top of not working, during the download I clicked cancel on anything not part of this program but still got Serach protect, connect toolbars, and outobox. (Plus they hijacked my home page in mozilla).
Summary
Ran the scan... told me you don't have any startup items disabled. Well Yeah, that's why I downloaded this! Tell me my start up program and what things are needed and what can be deleted.

There are no pros since the program does not do what it advertises.

There are eleven disabled startup programs listed in msconfig, but this program could not find any of them, instead saying there were no disabled programs!

Simply does not do what it advertised in Windows 7 64 bit.

It removes the disabled msconfig Startup commands entries. Removing these entries seems to help keep them from auto-enabling again in my experience. It has worked on XP Pro, Vista Home Prem, and now Win 7 Pro for me.

I have found none yet.

MSConfig a tool coming with Windows, includes a basic start-up manager, which allows you to enable/disable auto-start programs. It does not however allow you to completely remove an entry from the list. This is where MSConfig Cleanup comes in. It scans the start-up configurations and allows you to remove any item that has been previously disabled via MSConfig.
