This basic program simply catalogs MP3 files and provides several methods for searching your collection. Upon launch, the application scans your computer for MP3 files, then displays its findings in the large list that takes up most of the main window. However, MpegWare MP3 Organizer only supports the codec found in its name, so if you have a lot of WMA, OGG, or WAV files, this program probably isn't for you. The program lets you search files by keywords, or you can filter songs by artist, genre, album, and folder. One tool lets you quickly locate space-hogging duplicate files, but you won't get any features or functionalities that aren't directly related to organizing music. However, if you have gigabytes and gigabytes of MP3s scattered all around your machine, you might find that this program saves you some time.
