  Pros

  Simple easy to use and for me it performed exactly as it was supposed to. If any additional bells and whistles are added to the software <p> it will just get better as it evolves. If this is the type of program you are looking for I highly recommend it.

  Cons

  On a couple of occasions the play bar covered the control buttons on the top left... However, I believe that has been corrected in the new version.

  Pros

  This really has become a polished product both in functionality, as always, but I had been dissappointed in the look and feel. This has been substantially improved with this version and use is far less awkward.

  Cons

  Sometimes the time is wrong with splitting. Seems only to be a problem for certain bitrates, and seems to be related to if the file is sterephonic or mono. Not sure how to put this. not a big deal, it still works well.

  Pros

  Grandular control over how mp3's are split (size/time wise). It makes my life a lot easier because it splits with overlap so when it plays on a car MP3 CD Player it doesn't have weird "skipping".

  Cons

  The user interface was a little clunky. No documentation yet. Drag and drop would be nice. Its hard to get a sense of how the audio will play because the player is pretty limited.

  Pros

  As an avid listener of audible.com materials (Audiobooks), I found the idea of being able to put a single book that formerly took 20 CD's onto a single CDR. I'd done that before, but never had them play in the correct order. Now with the renaming done the way this program does it, that's a thing of the past. The splitting is also quite useful because it replays the last moments of the section you just listened to.

  Cons

  The interface is a bit gaudy for my taste. It is simple enough to use, but it's not laid out very logically and tends to hide the functionality that is really there.
