Summary
I recently purchased software from River Past and installed it. It didn't work so I wrote to their support address, TWICE and got no reply or even an acknowledgement. Then I wrote to their customer service folks, THREE TIMES. Again, no reply or even acknowledgement. Their site has a link to a page where one can request a refund. This link leads to a "server error". I would definitely advise against buying software from them.
Audio capture and convert, but no editing of audio streaming.

Took me a few tries to figure out which port to use for internet radio streaming (either the mono or stereo mix ports). It allows capture of audio streaming, but no way to edit it if I want to isolate individual songs recorded from internet radio. Not quite what I'm looking for.

I needed to be able to record telephone interviews for a project starting tomorrow. <p> <p>This product seemed like a good choice based on two user reviews I found here. I downloaded and tested it -- it seemed OK so I purchased it. <p> <p>I could not get my credit card to go through (never found out why) but was able to pay with PayPal. <p> <p>The serial number supplied did not work with the version I downbloaded here because there was a newer version. <p> <p>I downloaded the newer version and got the program up. Guess what -- it did not work! Everytime I hit the "stop" button, it deleted the file. <p> <p>I went with another product Record Pad which, so far, seems to be working just fine. <p> <p>Sorry, River Past, I hate to post a negative review but I've wasted several hours on this and need to be in production at 9AM omorrow.

Awesome in that it allows me to capture digital audio in .wav format direct from my Mini-DV camera recording and even starts/stops the Mini-DV tape.
It's simple and it works.
