  it works ok without issue. it displays lyrics line by line which the user will have added in the Windows Media Player "advanced tag editor" and sync's these up ok. <p> <p>The "remove vocal" option works ok, makes an ok job of silencing the voice on the original track if youre playing a normal song.

  Cons

  Its very basic. The lyric text is relatively small and at bottom of screen (i think it should be big and in middle of screen). There's an option to add echo in the "mic" settings, but that actually echo's the whole of the audio track - making it sound a mess, so you have to effectively disable echo, which then makes the karaoke voice sound bad. The ideal would be to enable echo on the mic but not on the original backing track audio. <p> <p>It would be nice to being able to input/edit lyrics and sync them up within MCE, instead of having to do that in WMP. <p> <p>Very basic looking, few settings or config options.
