• Excellent For Finance Majors

  Pros

  I am a finance major and needed some help with calculating the basics such as NPV, bond values, hedge fund, foreign exchange rates and options pricing. These spreadsheets are awesome because I can customize them and submit them as my assignment

  Cons

  The installation had a few steps and I needed to install Windows Installer and the .Net Framework. The people there were really helpful and remoted into my machine and did the install for me.

  Summary

  Well worth the $30

• Business Valuation

  Pros

  I used this product to price a business that I was looking into buying. The spreadsheets had 2 different ways to evaluate the business. The best was actually going through and calculating the Free Cash Flows to determine the value of the company.

  Not a flashy product but it does what it clams to do

• Complex Calculations For Foreign Exchange

  Pros

  This product has some very complicated spreadsheets to help with calculating foreign curreny exchange rates. There are also some great information on Forward Rate Agreements and how they work. The on line videos are very helpful

  The interface is not that intuitive but everything works

• Vendor unable to provide working copy after purchase

  Pros

  Unable to confirm claims of the product made by High Tech Logic Ltd.

  Cons

  I purchased the product on October 5, 2008 but have yet been unable to secure a working copy from the vendor. They seem to have little interest in providing a working copy.

  Summary

  Purchased the product but vendor unable to provide acess to a working installable product. 1) Either the server is inaccessible for the download or the downloaded copy displays a corrupt file / cab error 3/4 through the installation.
