Math Whiz for Windows

Math Whiz is an educational game designed to teach beginners the basics of math, addition and subtraction, in a fun way. The concepts of carrying and borrowing are shown and problem orientation both vertical and horizontal can be chosen. Math Whiz is divided up into three separate games, Thrash Math, Beat The Clock and Flash Cards. In Trash Math you select the number of problems you want, the type of problem (addition or subtraction) and the problem difficulty. When you press the start button your goal is to solve the set number of problems as fast as you can. At the end of the game you can review your answers and see your score and times. Beat The Clock is similar to Thrash Math except you set the game time and try to answer as many problems as you can before time runs out. Flash card mode gives the player ordered problems one after another starting at the desired location 0 - 9. These math games will help instill the basic math facts into the memory of the player.
