When working with self-contained merged clips or proxy clips for editorial, there is no margin for error: the slightest change can make it impossible to match back to the original, higher quality (or separate media) files. Matchback Magic overcomes this limitation. Imagine being able to match back perfectly to ALE file or Final Cut Pro sequence even though the clip was renamed in Final Cut Pro, the media file was renamed to match the clip name (a definite problem), the reel name was lost or changed; or timecode was changed or removed. Even with all these problems Matchback Magic will do a perfect conform after editorial.
