Malwarebytes anti-malware program runs great (5 star) but >not< this one for me.
Cons
BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH : I'm running XP sp3, ZoneAlarm (EXcluding antivirus), with AVG free (temporarily disabled).

Pros
My anti-virus found but could not remove the virus. Downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-rootkit (MBAR)and ran it. detected and removed the virus on the first pass.
Cons
ran the program and left as it ran. I think the virus closed the program out before I came back the next morning. Had to sit there until it ran so I could tell it to remove. Only drawback I saw.
Summary
Well worth having a copy around.
Still a bit buggy. This is a Beta version.

The program appears to run a very thorough scan of one's system in order to detect possible Rootkits.
Cons
Twice I had problems getting the program to load all the drivers and begin scanning. I had to re-boot my computer in order to get it to scan. I suspect the program still has a lot of bugs in it.
Summary
Malwarebytes tends to be very thorough at finding problems. I look forward to the final version of this. It shows a lot of promise. Most anti-virus software programs allow rootkits to slip through so a valuable rootkit removal program that's easy to use would be a welcome addition.

Summary
For 2 months now have been trying to restore my computer's ability to download any type of file. Every time I would attempt to download a file, the process would begin and then always ended with a box popping up saying that the file contained a virus and was deleted from the system. I tried RKILL.exe, TSKiller and a few more and none of them were able to fix the issue. Thank you, this is a great product and a life saver. I was about to reformat the hard drive and start from scratch!
