MaheshaBSD Server Edition comes as a bootable USB image and its purpose is to show Windows users the flexibility of running FreeBSD off a USB flash drive that works as a server. As an FTP server, it immediately supports quotas; and also a possibility to redirect a NTFS drive to MaheshaBSD Server, so that users can just simply copy any file to easy to use FTP/WWW and WordPress server that even little children can use. No knowledge of Unix is necessary. Some of the features include: Portability - with a straightforward FTP/WWW/WordPress server (with PHP) running off a USB flash drive it is easy to operate a server anywhere in the world. No need to purchase expensive licenses for an operating system because MaheshaBSD Server is an operating system (FreeBSD). The server is configurable via Webmin (remote web interface), thus you can change passwords easily. MaheshaBSD Server will give you a cheap data storage solution also accessible via Samba. Many companies need data storage for their industrial cameras, etc. The USB memory stick is writable and can be easily written onto a USB hard drive; phpMyAdmin is installed too and it runs over network in TightVNC as all GUI apps available in MaheshaBSD Server.
