LP Recorder has been designed specifically to record vinyl LPs to CD-standard WAV files. These can subsequently be converted to MP3 files or stored on CD. LP Recorder is an ideal companion program to LP Ripper. Special features of LP Recorder suited to recording vinyl to WAV files include: automatically adjusts optimum recording levels to avoid distortion. Auto start and auto stop for easy operation.

for a simple program to record lp's to a hard drive this is a good program. If you want to decrease some of the noise effects from records and have a large collection probably a program that has more bells and whistles would be better

Pros
Does the job very well. Came bundled with Xitel INPORT. Much easier to use and less memory consumed than starting up NERO 9. Good companion to LP Ripper program.
