This software serves as a guide to show recommended acupoints for specific dates and times, though it could use a more accessible guide for abbreviations. The LongLife CA Chrono-Acupuncute Calendar interface is utilitarian but easy to navigate. Simply choose one of five systems, including the Stem Adopting Technique, Eight Techniques of Mysterious Turtle, and the Son Generating Technique, and open points are displayed by day and time. You can view a list of currently open points or choose a point at which to see open dates and times for all systems. The help file has overviews of chrono-acupuncture and of the five systems the program supports, but we didn't find calendar abbreviations in a single location. Tool tips or a dedicated help file would ease the learning curve. The calendar ends June 6, 2006, though an upgrade is promised. The print option is disabled during the 30-day trial. Any professional acupuncturist will appreciate this program's easy navigation and flexible viewing options.
