"Free" Version has NO features at all

Pros
It's Free. But Exactly WHAT is free?
Cons
This particular "FREE" program looked VERY, VERY promising, so I downloaded it - only to find that every single G.D. feature is locked in the unregistered version. Also, They have so much add-on-ware with their downloads it's embarrassing. I know they have to make some money, but isn't there any other way? Bottom line, I uninstalled this program as soon as I figured out it was totally useless to me. They really should tell us in advance when (a) NO or minimal features are enabled (b) how much it costs to get the full features; and (c) that we will be loaded up with add-on ware when we try to install.
