A highly organized and well-indexed set of lessons. The applications are practical, but the learning has far-reaching consequences. The learner may follow the tutorials at their own pace while focusing upon context relevant information. The finished product is the reward, but the student is fully engaged and enriched by the process. Students are fully engaged and appropriately challenged to become independent thinkers who can come up with their own project ideas. Materials condense what is available from MSDN so that students remember what they learn. With every project, the pathway to learning is clear and immediate, though the topics in Computer Science remain current, relevant and challenging. Students focus upon design stages and sound problem-solving techniques from a Computer Science perspective. In doing so, they become independent problem-solvers, and will exceed the curricular requirements of schools everywhere.

Visual Basic 6 is now not distributed by Microsoft. However, the tutorials by Kidwaresoftware.com are updated constantly, and there are the Learn Visual Basic 2012 Professional tutorials now available.

When I started my travel in VB6, my first aid was this material in or about 1999. This is a good material for an introduction to the programming in VB6, and I can say that It was great. The examples are very clear, and precise and concise. I do still keeping this notes very close to me.
