  Pros

  Easy to install and use. It was able to unlock a computer that I had sitting around because the person I loan it to deleted my access account and locked my other accounts so only he could access. The program was simple and restored my locked accounts. And while others offer a free trial to "see" what accounts were locked (pay version would unlock), thie program actually allowed me to do it in a Home use setting.

  Cons

  The interface was easy but only allowed setting up a start-up to CD/DVD or USB. How about SD cards?

  1. It works and it worked fast unlocking an old computer. 2. While "free to try" programs allow you to only see locked program. This allowed me to unlock every ID and make other IDs visible on start-up. 3. The file has a simple to use interface. 4. Free from home use (commercial need to pay). 5. Allows you to create a USB disk or CD/DVD of all versions of WIndows from Vista to W10.

  THIS IS THE WORST SOFTWARE I'VE EVER USED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. JESUS CHRIST. NOT ONLY DID IT TAKE OVER 20 MINUTES TO BURN TO A USB. BUT MY LAPTOP HAS BEEN TAKING OVER 30 MINUTES TO BOOT WITH THIS AWFUL PROGRAM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I'M RESORTING TO COMMAND PROMPT. UNBELIEVABLE HOW THIS HAD MORE THAN 1 STAR.

• More than just a password reset tool

  Pros

  I used the bootable USB option from within this program and it found all the accounts and I was able to reset (i.e. wipe) the passwords of all of them, one at a time. This made all the accounts accessible without having to enter any password. All the user data files were unaffected. What sets this apart is all the other utilities which are available after you've performed the operation. For instance, I was able to display the registration key for the version of Windows installed (Windows 7 Pro) and also for the Office Suite 2007. This is really useful if I ever need to reinstall these at a later date.

  Cons

  There are none I can think of - it's free for goodness sake! I don't know what some of the other reviews were complaining about - there's no last-minute "gotcha" at the end that asks you to pay before clearing the account passwords!

  Summary

  Brilliantly easy-to-use password reset tool. You may need to know how to set your BIOs to boot from CD or USB drive in preference to the hard drive, if that's not the priority order on your PC already. If not, there is info on the Lazesoft website.

  Summary

  I bought a new laptop and after over a year forgot the password to the old laptop. I tried many methods to try to recover my old password and nothing was working. I eventually found this software and tried it. I was happy it worked and didn't take long. My laptop took a little bit to load after and had a blank screen for a few minutes. It did eventually load. The old laptop was always slow.

  Pros

  Only free software I've found available that will do this, easy enough to use as an IT guy and I believe most regular PC users would find it easy enough as well.

  Cons

  None that I can think of.

  Summary

  Amazing piece of software, especially for free, would buy for commercial use if ever required. (Network Manager for SME company)

  I went online and tried many other software solutions for "free" only to find out once I got to the very last steps into recovering my password that I had to buy/pay $20, $15, $10 if I wanted to continue. THIS WAS FREE AND SO I WENT BACK AND BOUGHT THE UNLIMITED VERSION FOR MY BUSINESS AND ITS BEEN WORKING GREAT

  it can be a bit tricky for those who aren't technical enough but the average computer person should be able to make it work

  I would definitively recommend this product as well as other products from Lazesoft that I own that are a "must" for IT solutions

  made a deal with myself that if the computer became functional, that i would purchase the purchase product, the computer is functional

  the computer was pretty buggy, had trouble activating a continue button, got lucky and activated the continue button accidentally, using keyboard inputs, in one screen the screen was to large to reach the continue button, with the cursor, and the window us difficult to move, the window would keep moving back to the hidden continue button area, before the cursor could click on it, tried to figure out how to use key board instructions to activate the continue button, but while trying to re-size the window using the keyboard, the continue button got activated accidentally, a good feeling, my observation for what its worth, is that if the continue button was located in a position, that could be accessed, even when a buggy computer starts re-sizing windows that may allow the button to be accesible

• Great Free PSWD finder and FREE

  Pros

  After searching and trying xxx number of password finders ( lost my new pswrd) and nothing worked without paying, this one worked 100% I was amazed. I have not lost a signon pswd in 20 years, wrote the wrong one down, it was reinstall or try a pswrd finder. This is the only ONE is great Also tried their Windows recovery program.. also worked great

  Summary

  Burned it to disk after I could not get it to work from USB and it worked perfect. One of my work computers got locked and not even our computer techs could get into it. I just set the boot menu to boot from the disc and ran the program, it really works awesome. I will be keeping this on hand in case.
