The interactive module allows you to make any manual changes in the timetable: move cells, copy, paste, drag & drop. Incorporates tools for smart timetabling such as Who is free window, Multi-Step solutions, and simultaneous editing of timetables. Allows customized reports and printouts. Supports XML files.

Version 6.2.13 is a bug fixing release.

Pros
It might take a little while to learn how to use it, but once you do, I think its the best piece of timetabling software out there. It's pretty fast at generating timetables and it contains plenty of good features to make things easier.
Cons
Very slight learning curve, although this is probably hard to avoid with this kind of software. Can't associateteachers with particular subjects.
Summary
Overall, I think it's the best peice of timetabling software available. Once you get the hang of things,it's very powerful, and it's probably the best way to avoid the headaches of making a timetable out by hand.

Simple, stand alone timetabling software with sophisticated functionality.

Pros
Lantive allows automated timetabling to be done with minimal data entry. The timetabling algorithm allows for subtle constraints to be considered. With Lantiv, I can do a workable timetable for a K-12 700 o.r. school in 3 days, finessing the timetable takes about another week.
Cons
Importing data is not a function that Lantiv supports, they're working on it (and have been for over a year) but there are work arounds that enable this.
