Pros
This program helped me to learn Thai quite quickly because of the ausio visual approach and the inteligent quizes incorporated.
Cons
There is no explanation of the Thai characters but you can switch the program to phonetic language which is quite good.

The software makes you feel you are entering the Thai language with the audio-visual approach. I am also learning Tagalog with the same series from that company and it is really fun. <p>What I like most that you are able to print out vocabulary cards and textbook (in the full version) and that enables you to learn the language on the road also (and not only on the computer).
Cons
The full version takes some time to download (approx. 100 MB) and you need a fast internet connection. The product is not available on CD-Rom but only download.

Since one of my relative is married to a Thai, I have tried several times to learn Thai with different methods but no success.<p>With L-Ceps Personaltrainer Thai, I found a language learning software that is not only very easy to use but by means of the multimedia approach very effective.<p>By the visual learning approach (every word and sentence has a picture), the Thai words and sentences are now really sticking in my brain.<p>The other day, I was in a Supermarket and saw a banana and suddenly the Thai word just popped up in my brain.

You need to install the Java runtime environment to run the program.
