  Program offered doesn't work as it should, and has highly suspicious ads ("please scan your computer for viruses with our special program!") with audio that plays over the video

• "Used to be great" but now ?....very bad...almost crap

  Pros

  It was really meant for the (semi-)professionals who could understand and set it up to it's full potential and worked fantastic. But now ...well it the opposite. There is NO pros for this now. sorry.

  Cons

  A big one.... does not install properly. It took about 30 min to install and when it finally did install, it hardly worked. it is now full of adware,bloatware and/or malware etc. which can not be controlled during installation. three versions over 4.1 were tried all behaved the same on Win 7.

  Summary

  It is sad how good things tend to go down the drain these days. They might as well stop releasing this program and save us from wasting our time. Even the main website does not work ! so, that may be the signal to switch to something else.

  It opened an AIFF file that my Windows Media Player claimed was a 'closed' or 'off-limits' type of file. (For the record the file was a legitimate language learning file from the Peace Corps...it wasn't porn, illegal or questionable at all)

  Cons

  I can't get that darn box off the screen at times. In order to get rid of that box you have to click on the icon in the toolbar and hit "EXIT" to get rid of it.

  Summary

  In summary, I originally downloaded it to see if it would open the elusive AIFF file and it did. So I'll keep it on my laptop for files my WMP won't open. If it was a bit more user-friendly I'd give it 5 stars. All in all, it's a good piece of software to have.

  I hate this spam here ... If I instal this need clean my computer ... I dont know - "why" is this stupid add ... Wallpaper is bad too ... Why firm need close this good player?

  +Rich menu and settings +Beautiful looking player +great image processing

  Cons

  -Sound is not in sync -AutoUpdate not working -SPAMS you with ads and software -Slow on opening

  Summary

  Don't install it !!! This used to be great free player , then they tried to start showing ads while you watch videos (which backfired) , then they tried to make some type of a store platform (which backfired) , and now you have a mess of an app whose sound , update and many other features don't work .
