KeyboardTest allows users to quickly check that all the keys on their computer keyboard are functioning correctly, check the keyboard LED's, look at the internal scan codes being generated by the keyboard and measure typing speed. Possible uses of the software include testing faulty keyboards, batch mode testing of keyboard in a production line environment, a typing tutor aid to practice you're typing and examining the internal key codes.

Does not check if correct code is being generated!

Pros
Program loaded easily. Because it shows code being generated for each key, a tech can see what's wrong.
Cons
Does not inform user that the code generated for the keypress is wrong,
Summary
Not a useful program for average user to check keyboard. Because average user does not know what code should be generated for each key,
