Worked like a charm for Outlook 2007, Vista
rv8pilot- Pros
- Lost Gmail password. Google pass recover site failed. Only option was to recover Gmail password from Outlook which still worked. Unfortunately Outlook password window was asterisks. Launched unmask, Opened Outlook settings and password was there.
- Cons
- Unpolished interface but this is minor to fact it recovered password. No exit on program, have to log off and then again on. Still a minor inconvenience. Polished interface with clean exit would have earned it 5 stars.
- Summary
- For those of you who find themselves between a rock and a hard place, i.e. Google, with no one as in live person to talk to, this is a way out. We were on the verge of transferring everything over to Hotmail simply because we could not recover our Gmail password from Google's automated password recovery site. It sent an email saying the account we were using was non existent. It sent this email to the same account the message said didn't exist. Go figure.
