The downloaded app only "converts" 3 minutes of video, and the resulting file won't play on any app I try.

If you're going to off a "free download", make sure the app's at least marginally useful before you demand payment for it. All it needed to do it convert one file successfully and I'd have bought it. But since you wasted my time, I'm going to purchase another app. CNET: Please try to avoid putting up these scam downloads on your site. People usually trust you for decent software and this kind of nonsense hurts your rep.
