  it seems that you can pre-text the IP addresses to know which ones are good and which ones are bad.

  Cons

  Too hard to understand, too many buttons that duplicate functions. to test an IP address and to use that one, you have to double and triple click on the same button at differnet paces of the software.

  Summary

  In the end, you still end up using the same IP address that your Internet provides gives you. If CNET had done its review and actually varified, I might have found that useful and avoided the installation and un-installation of the program on my laptop from the start.

• A Ripoff I Paid It Stopped Working.

  It doesn't work and it slows up my computer.

  I downloaded the free version and there were a number of 3 rd world IPs and some of them allowed me to hide my IP address. Then I paid for it and the IP list changed to only include addresses from the US and Western Europe and none of them worked. The program slows up my computer whether I use it or not. I have to use task manager to get rid of it. I think that the soft wear is a set up to get people in trouble...

  None. Absolute garbage. There are plenty of free programs that work WAY better. I was an idiot for getting sucked in. Don't make the same mistake I did. STAY AWAY!!

  Trial version worked great so I purchased. Full version crashes computer or slows it down. Wiped all of my internet settings. Had to delete to connect to internet again. Proxy servers all require passwords. Completely useless

  Beware this company. They pull a bait and switch with the software. Trial works, registered version doesn't. Fills registry with multiple keys and slows down computer. Injects itself into start menu like a virus. Everytime you remove it from the start menu, it puts itself back in. Even after deleting I am still finding hidden registry keys this piece of crap left behind. Proxy servers on full version all require passwords while in the trial version all of the servers worked perfectly. When I complained to the company, they told me that even though they claim to give refunds if you have problems with the software after the trial period is up, they won't actually do it because no one can force them to. They told me that if I wanted a refund I would have to come to Romania (where they are located) and take it from them. WTF? What kind of company is this? Not even Paypal could get my money back. These thieves need to be run out of business. Avoid this company like a 2 dollar wh*re.

  First of all, this product only works with IE. The premise is good -- use established anonymous ips to hide yours. The problem is, the test version does not give you any ips to download, which defeats the purpose of the product. It also freezes your computer if you try fooling with it too much. A total piece of garbage.

  Pros

  I can highly recommend this remarkable software to everybody because nowadays online privacy is very important. IP Anonymizer perfectly executes all the tasks that are listed in publisher's review like hiding true IP address, deleting online traces (cookies, temporary files, ect.) and daily proxy list update. So I think that this is one of the examples of a must have software.
