Dark Files impressively keeps your files and folders private, though encryption is out of stock. Its password-protected interface is standard in appearance and offers hot-key accessibility. A quick browse lets us easily add files or folders for concealment and protection from spectators. We're able to instantly remove files from sight and make folders read-only. A quick search for our test files proves the application's accuracy and effectiveness. The file mask feature is a nice addition, allowing users to hide only selected processes and files by extension such as JPEGs or MP3s. Although file encryption for added security isn't given, you'll otherwise appreciate this software's efficiency. Dark Files provides a respectable level of security for most users in need of immediate file cover-up.

Not what I was looking For!

Pros
I spent 5 minutes at it, but I have been installing software for over 5 years. It should be intuitive just the folder password part - its not.
Cons
This is not a replacement for Windows 98 network folder password features in an XP environment. I can't find an application that sims this in XP.
