I couldn't make it do anything

Pros
none. I expected it to list a range of possible country IPs
Cons
it certainly isn't obvious how to select an IP for a different country. For example, I wanted to switch to UK to watch BBC. It seems I must know the IP, there is no list to select.
Summary
at least it didn't break anything. CNET however has tiny print that wants me to install crapware. Always pick custom install & opt out of everything.
