• commandline program worked perfectly

  Pros

  The program worked fast with the the minimum command "ocr filename" which I ran using run in microsoft XP. With the minimum command and no switches the program parsed my tif file and put the result in the same location as a pdf file. The source file was scanned at 600dpi and was a difficult file to read as it was a computer printout with alternate bands of white and shading. The program sorted this perfectly.

  I guess the idea is to incorporate this program into an easier to use application. But for my small purpose it was fine
