• Easy to use. Well designed.

  Pros

  This was the easiest to use of several that I tried. It seemed the most intuitive to me. Optimizes each cut for file type (jpg, gif, etc), allows cut to be specified as IMG or background image. Project file is human readable.

  Cons

  No definition for project file. Could not specify all cuts to be background. Would like means to automate various aspects of this program.

  Summary

  Overall this is a great deal for the money. the company's website suggests a willingness to modify at request but I do not know what the cost might be. My needs are not exactly for what the product is intended but it was a very good match none the less.

  While tryinh to download the installer of this program my antivirus (AVAST which I trust a lkot) indicated that the installer contains a virus,

  Therefore I gave up from installing a contaminated application.

  If the programmer did not check his application how can I trust it?

  As the description states, the cuts are arbitrarily chosen, allowing for multiple sizes of the pieces throughout - a real headache for anyone trying to save the picture without permission! <p> <p>The program is also good in that it does do all the legwork once the user decides where cuts are to be made - including the best file type for the individual pieces.

  Cons

  This program has two major flaws. First, if the user decides to make all the pieces the same file type in a particular project, it seems to no longer choose different file types for later projects - each piece becomes the same file type regardless. <p> <p>Its second major flaw is that, in the list of file pieces, options cannot be appplied to multiple or all pieces. Each piece must be selected and have its options changed. <p> <p>For example, I wanted all the image pieces to be background - with 80-some pieces, I readily gave up after selecting one piece and clicking "background" and then selecting another piece several times.
