iAddressX puts your contacts' information in your menu bar for quick and easy access. iAddressX allows you to quickly dial, send email, paste mailing labels, find contacts, and many other tasks. It is a powerful personal-contacts productivity tool for instant access from the desktop to just about everything in Apple's Contacts app (formerly the Address Book). iAddressX will put your mind at ease by helping you access, navigate, search, view, organize, and instantly access your important contact information.

Menubar Convenience and iAddressX: The main menu bar, also called the system menu, has been a main feature of Macintosh computers since the Mac's inception. iAddressX has now returned to the system menu as a status item, allowing easy access to almost everything related to contact from hierarchical menus. Navigate Contacts: Navigate contacts from a small icon in the system menu and access many contact options. Dymo Support: Print to your Dymo Label printer right from iAddressX. Dial: Dial using Bluetooth, a USB Modem, Skype or an old-fashioned landline. Search: Search your contacts directly from the menu bar. Skype: Full support to initiate a call or chat using Skype.

There is address book in the dock and the address widget, so what would be the point of this. I tried it out and I did a 180. This application is really sweet. Dang, it makes me think I should just dump address book from the dock and dump the widget. You really need to give this one a try & buy.

Well done!

I also use web mail, iCards, Mozilla mail, where the addressbook becomes more available with this useful utility. For my favorite e-mail addresses, it would be nice to have them in the first level of menus.

What is the nickname in the address book useful for??? I can't access email addresses via nickname (by typing them in mail.app), not can iAddressX display by nickname. Please!
