• HORRIBLE!!!

  The set up of imesh was nice

  Cons

  Not a good selection of songs Made my computer VERY slow to the point that I had to no other choice but to uninstall imesh and I didn't even have it for a month nor did I download very many songs. Also I just got a new, nice computer that was working fabulous until I started to download songs off of imesh. It gave my computer a virus I would buy songs and then some of them would disappear from my library and when I tried to re download the same songs, it wouldn't let me because it said that I already had it. Too expensive for all the flaws it has.

  Summary

  I liked the set up of imesh but that is it. If you value your computer then this is not the program for you. I would not recommend!!!!!!!!

  A compagny who -- Helps ASK install a browser helper..Even demands it is no comp of mine

  STOP SUPPORTING ASK......damn. fought 2 month to get rid of ASK from my browser..shame on them

  Pros

  This may be a good program - This may be a bad program, but you won't find much out after looking at the first 10 comments.

  Cons

  It's not hard to tell when you are getting a comment written by someone trying to promote the program. The pros are very similar and in some cases word for word. I mean, who really writes comments like that? Bogus comments are always a problem, but these are especially bad.

• Requires using their toolbar as default

  Pros

  Can't see a pro when you are given the option to opt out of their tool bars but are given an error in downloading if you do opt out.

  Cons

  You must install either an Imesh toolbar or a Torch toolbar. Even though you have an option not to accept their toolbar hijacking, you are given a download error. CNET needs to romove this company from its list.

  Summary

  I don't trust this outfit who want to install a toolbar. Gawd knows what it would take to remove it.

  Summary

  I was charged a monthly fee plus the money to purchase mp3s, only to find out that I couldn't upload them to my mp3 player. Said I didn't purchase them. My bank account says otherwise. Save your money. Use another program.

  I thought I had found a great program. Fast downloads, good selection...

  YOU DON'T GET TO KEEP WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

  Summary

  I was charged a monthly service fee even tho I didn't sign up for that, just the free downloads, and then purchased a few mp3s. Only to find out later when I tried to upload the mp3s that I purchased, that they were no longer there! Even though they were all listed as "purchased", I kept getting a message saying that I couldn't upload them because they weren't. Most importantly, my bank account said they were. THEN I was told that there was nothing they could do about it because the money I paid goes directly to the artist and that it could not be refunded! Needless to say... I am NOT happy with imesh. Save your money. Don't use it.

  Great song and artist selection. Downloads fast. Nice interface creating new song list.

  Cons

  What's up with trying to pirate your home search? After trying the freebies (impressed) I tried to download to my Ipod. So, I decided to spring for the 9.95 per mo. charge. Good news? No! Still could not download to Ipod but it would download (some not all) to my Asus 300TF. Then, I upgraded to the so called premium subscription at a higher monthly......Surprise! Still will not download to my Ipod. The real pisser is that their first screen touts how "easy" it is to download to Apple products. "it's even easier and faster than using Itunes". That is BS! After signing up for their premium a pop up informs that my Ipod must not be compatible. Very deceptive advertising. If a solution is not forthcoming, I will find them "incompatible" and flush!

  Summary

  I would agree with all of the above. But, as I have stated, I will try to find a solution before I eliminate the install. Hopefully, it will be something as simple as a file format difference.
