Hot Air for iOS

Hot Air is a dedicated flight logging and tracking application tailored for hot air balloon pilots. It serves as an essential tool, functioning as both a digital logbook and data recorder. The application is built on extensive feedback from pilots, ensuring it meets the specific needs of its users. With its features highlighted in the Ballooning Journal, Hot Air has established itself as a reliable utility in the ballooning community.

The application includes real-time tracking capabilities, allowing pilots to enhance their situational awareness by displaying their current location on detailed maps or satellite imagery. It supports offline maps and enables users to record their entire flight path, which can later be exported for 3D visualization in Google Earth. Additionally, Hot Air supports KML/KMZ overlays, facilitating the integration of custom data into flight maps, which can include key information about landing sites and airspace restrictions.
