Great for traveling abroad

Pros
Maps can be viewed and cached by scrolling around the desired area, even in the free version.
Cons
This is a GREAT app! I love it and use it whenever I travel for offline map use. But you need to understand what you are buying before you spend money on the offline maps feature. I am happy to pay a few bucks for extra features. To get offline maps to work, you need to first create those maps (an Atlas) on a PC. While some may see this as a disadvantage, it makes a lot of sense when you understand the complexities of creating decent offline maps.
Summary
if you decide not to buy extra features such as uploading a map from desktop computer, you can do the next: Connect to free Wi-Fi. Open the app. "Go walking" in map. Everything you have watched - is cached, so next time - you will not download again this map, you will not lose your traffic, time and battery when you open the map again. It is "must have" awesome app.
