• No update from "beta" status in almost TWO YEARS?!?

  Pros

  It "might" be helpful IN ADDITION to the use of other similar software programs in discovering and eradicating "some" types, forms, and instances of malware, spyware, viruses, but finding and removing rootkits, worms, and especially trojans usually involves downloading software that is only available in crippled trial or shareware forms or full payment is required status prior to their products being fully activated and used.

  I am instantly suspicious of ANY software's effectiveness in what it supposedly does, if it isn't being updated AT LEAST annually,and this software is still in its "beta" phase after nearly two years?!? It isn't like it is needed tobe used in a more benign way, like for examples a desktop wallpaper, CD/DVD player, file tweaker or registry cleaner or something like that. It should need regular and frequent updates b/c of the mutating/evolving status of most viruses, worms, malware, and spyware that often attacks newly discovered or "zero-day" vulnerabilites in most software that are used/installed in Windows OSes

  this product may be in beta form still but its detection rate is pretty good.. actually caught a nasty that avast and threatfire missed...surprised me and im sure it will only get better.....

  Cons

  it needs to be the completed version soon.....cause the tools that are not running yet could be very useful.

  Summary

  good product to use in between virus and spyware protection.....and contrary to silly reviews it does not have a virus or trojan.

  Pros

  This protecting program has a fair detection and solid Realtime Protection. Good thing is his Self Defence so it can stop malicious software from disabling it, configuration is very small. It protect you in the system tray.

  Cons

  My Norton Internet Security found a Trojan in this app, so people watch out!!!

  Hazard Shield catches all the stuff that Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware catch COMBINED, and scans in only half the time.

  excellent little product. scans super fast and let's you see what it recommends deleting, then you can choose whether to delete it or not.

  this is my third-line defense behind SUPERAntiSpyware Free and Malwarebytes Free. useful, effective little product to see if there's anything the other 2 missed (sometimes they do).

  Great idea to have realtime protection against malware.

  Cons

  My computer kept freezing and crashing until I stopped it running.

  Summary

  After installing it I downloaded updates, after which it said to uninstall and reload the realtime protection, but it wouldn't do this, it froze. Strange! Later, i was trying to open files on my disk drive and my computer crashed every time. When I disabled Hazard Shield, my computer was fine again.

  Pros

  i ran this on my pc for about 4 months and it never found a thing so i bought spysweeper and on the first full scan it found 15 high risk spyeare and adware and even (coolwebsearch) hazard shield missed all these baddies.

  Cons

  i did not like anything about this.
