Although this software provides users with Feng Shui tips and guidelines, you can't evaluate Great Feng Shui's ability to offer customized advice until purchase.

An unexciting interface calculates your 9 Ki number after you enter your name, gender, and birthday. It then displays information regarding element, auspicious/non-auspicious directions, and summary of the trigram Chen. There's also an option to plot a diagram of your house, although you can't add or remove rooms. In addition, Great Feng Shui offers guidelines for moving into or renovating a home.

Unfortunately, most of the program's reports are for the preloaded sample profile. You wont get to take advantage of customized advice until you register, although the trial version still provides you with the general concept of the program. Print and save options also are disabled in the demoware. Though it probably wouldn't impress a seasoned practitioner, this basic program offers general information about the art of Feng Shui.

Great! Feng Shui was designed to supply the background knowledge and theory and simplify some of the arcane calculations that are part of feng shui, so that someone who is learning the art will have the direction and support they need to make their own decisions without hiring a costly feng shui practitioner. The software can point out potential problems and suggest likely remedies. Create a Profile for each member of your household to learn what colors, patterns, materials, and locations inside of your home are most compatible with that person. Create a Location to define the floor plan of your home. Each room will be analyzed based on the type of room and its location in the home, which will tell you if the room is in a suitable location for its intended function. It will also tell you if the location is beneficial for the actively selected Profile, and what kinds of decorating tips can be used to make best use of the room in this location.
