  Installing on windows 7 crops GUI window,..can't see all options. Did not send to any of the test phone #'s I used. Support is non existent. It's Broken!

  Summary

  Check around for other software,...This one was made by some guy who obviously dosn't have the time or the desire to produce a quality product. He made it for his own use and therefore if it works for him, and (perhaps family who gave good reviews) then for the rest of us, we must have broken computers. Search elswhere.

  Pros

  No real pros because it did not work. I would have liked it to work because it looked like a simple and small application.

  Did not work. I am in Central Florida region and we have major carriers like Verizon, Sprint and AT&T...don't know if that makes a difference.

  Installs just fine. Sent 3 messages. The receivers never got the messages. Duh...I dunno?? Bam!! Uninstalled. It did that at least.

  Pros

  I challenge anyone to find a better free text messaging software. Tried a bunch of other ones that claimed to be free but then you had to buy the software after a certain number of days or credits. Not this one. After about 200 messages or so, I received a prompt suggesting a donation. No big deal. If you choose not to donate, the software keeps on working without limits anyway.

  Cons

  I wish it came with a counter that tells you how many characters you've typed. It says it automatically splits messages that are too long but it wasn't doing that on my phone. Can't really blame the software though, it could have been a problem on the Nextel network end.

  I don't like anything about it. It doesn't work.

  I downloaded the software, installed it, and tried it. It does not work. That simple. I tried sending a text message to my own cell phone. I tried a short message, then waited about 5 minutes, and then tried another. Never received any of the ones sent through this program. Text messaging is working fine on my phone as I am actively sending text messages to people.

  tells u that the end user received ur msg, but its never true, i sent myself 2 msgs, but i haven't received it even after an hour. I live in India. they could have specified the countries they cover

  As a police chief, I use this program to send msgs to officers in the field, when I don't want to put them out on the radio. And I use it to page officers at home about upcomming training or schedule changes....works great!

  Cons

  Works only in US to my knowledge. Has to be connected to internet. - Not a problem, though!
