Conferendo for Windows

VZOChat is a high-quality video chat and messaging utility that supports simultaneous sessions with up to 120 people. A small download, VZOChat installs easily. VZOChat uses a proprietary protocol for video that is claimed to be optimized for slower connection speeds, and there are several language packs available.

The VZOChat interface is clean and simple. There's a pane for all the video chats in progress (up to six displayed on the pane at the same time) and controls for audio and microphone volumes, as well as some extra icons to control other aspects such as text and inviting new contacts. You can record your video and audio chats through VZOChat. Mobile device apps allow you to chat with mobile users from your desktop.

The free version of VZOChat works fine, but to suppress ads and add file transfer capabilities (as well as other features) you can buy one of two upgrades, both on a per-month basis. In our testing VZOChat worked fine, and there are some nice features to the app that we came to depend on. Certainly for large numbers of people on a call, VZOChat is one of the better apps we've tested.

In December 2015 the latest version of a free video chat - Conferendo 6.6.0 became available for all users of devices on Windows platform.
