A friendly implementation of Conway's classic Game of Life, Goodlife provides an easy editing interface, variable evolution speed, undo functionality and compatibility with Life 1.05/1.06 pattern files. It is neither large nor very fast, but its ease of use makes it a pleasant choice for exploring small to medium sized Life forms. It therefore makes a good entry level program for the casual student of Life. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
