  After downloading, an obnoxious sales pitch appeared attacking Hillary Clinton and the Democrat party. It was supposed to be cute or funny, but the lack of maturity by some spoiled rich Silicon Valley zomboid was a terrible way to promote an upgrade.

  Website says "free" and lists numerous features over and over again. Only after you've installed it (and several other things if you're not careful) do you find out that literally everything except for downloading one single video at a time is disabled and only available through a paid version. These guys are hacks. Do not waste your time.

  Summary

  CNET should be ashamed to even have this listed as free with the features laid out. Complete fraud.

  I guess if more people made donations to suppliers of free software, they wouldn't need to do this. DVDvideosoft generally has been providing decent working and easy to use freeware.

  Summary

  For example, you can get The Classic Browser which includes U-tube downloading and doesn't even need a percentage bar because it downloads any DASH audio/video instantly and correctly. It's free too. Times have changed?

  I like this program because I tend to download tutorial playlists of various topics and some programs I've previously tried tend to either lag or not download the videos at all.

  "Free version" add watermark "Created with free version for non commercial use". I don't know how often this happen (only the beginning? Each X minutes? I don't even want to know! This brought my mind in flame!). Pause button? Not working. Slow as hell for download and convert. I've an i7-4770k which can compile large programs with 1 Gb temp file in absolutely no time, but this crap take about 1h to download a video the i would download in 5 minutes in my browser. Conversion was not that bad, maybe 15 minutes for a 1.4 Gb file, but when i see the CPU temperature, i know for sure that this program is slowed down probably because it's the Free Version. As it's not enough, the free version have Ads in it. If it was the only point to have a "Free version", i would probably accept it. But with watermark and running like a turtle, this program is a no go for me.

  Bad. Nice little video Download Lady, but you're still a bitch. When a software is FREE, and there's a "PRO VERSION", Download lady shouldn't accept the publisher to show: "LIMITATION: Not available". That's just acting like a whore. Download.com, if you really want to earn the trust of your users, you should definitely get the thing straight give some restrictions to the publishers. They shouldn't be the one who make the rules. Download.com should make them! Download.com started to add op-out adware to every single files hosted here few years ago. So i'm not even sure if these rules come from the publishers or from download.com themselve. So... I feel like i've been abused big time, once more. So i'll go for open source now... ciao Download.com!
