There is no benefit to this program, only risks.
Cons
The program converted the page numbers only. The installation is not intuitive as the program downloads a file that needs to be run to download yet another file. During the install process one is asked if one wishes to install another host of products related to PC Health. Lastly one ends up with Yahoo as the search engine and home page.

Asks you to install about 4-5 things of spyware trash. If you don't know what you are doing, you might miss it right away. Had to click decline every time until it started to install. The converter didn't work for me but I'm assuming it was because it was a scanned document and not made as a text pdf.

None - never even installed. Hopefully I don't have any viruses.

As others have noted, this contains viruses and malware. I used to come to CNET because I could trust their downloads. They were free from embedded toolbars and adware. Then they started including those unless you chose "advanced options" during your install (which just means "I don't want malicious crap installed on my computer"). Now it seems their downloads just have plain old viruses. This will be the last time I visit CNET. Once you were great, CNET, but something changed and now you are everything you weren't supposed to be.

This program is dangerous. CNET is too. Updated on May 14, 2014Sorry, forgot to specify that it didn't install because AVG identified a virus. While sometimes this happens erroneously, I've had too many bad experiences with CNET downloads in the last two years to think it wasn't a virus. I trust AVG over CNET downloads at this point.

Downloaded a bunch of junk - something called Search Protect was the hardest to clean up. My virus protection notified me that it removed a virus too. BUT DID NOT DOWNLOAD AN ACTUAL PDF CONVERTER!!!??!

Unfortunately, the program does not preserve the formatting and even the font size, does not support images. During installation care should be taken to discard all the crap and garbage that it tries to install.
